Hey, I'm gab
I'm a designer, a dog guardian, and another regular human.
I believe that craft and quality are the essential ingredients that make brands and software successful. My main area is software design, but I’ve also enjoyed collaborating with various experts, teams, and departments during my most recent role leading all design system efforts at MakeMusic.
There’s no mystery to my work approach — I focus on what truly matters and move forward with a practical sense of design, supported by the skills and knowledge I’ve acquired over the years in the vast universe of product lifecycles.
This is sneak peek of what I do:

More about me
It's been a long time since I launched a website to showcase my work, and honestly, I wish it were easier to maintain. I'm not extremely opinionated about how we should use the internet (everyone should do what feels right for them). Still, I want to keep believing technology is a tool that allows us to do more with less. It requires constant effort to understand how much is enough. This website is a result of that reflection.
Over the past twelve years, I’ve moved around a couple of cities, and I’m grateful for every experience and the people I’ve had the chance to meet and learn from. That has helped define me, my work, and why I keep choosing the design industry. Yet, when I think about it, I can’t imagine doing anything else — mostly because I don’t know what else I’d be doing if I weren’t.
My ultimate goal is to shape the life I want to live and make it happen. In the meantime, I have a dog to feed, and that's a good motivation to get paid for designing things people want to use. But primarily, I do it because I enjoy it. Some projects have been more fulfilling than others, but nothing is perfect, and I am okay with that. The most important thing is to keep changing, as long as it’s worth it.
I'm not collecting any data or tracking your every move here. I'm simply thankful you stopped by and chose to stick around. If you ever feel genuinely motivated to share your thoughts about this whole thing, just reach out.
